This certainly is the most common thing we’ve been hearing. Sure, smoking and drinking are extremely dangerous right from the beginning of your pregnancy.

If you don’t you’ll face aftermaths such as miscarriage, placental problems, and more.

Likewise, if you give birth your child will face problems such as speech, language, learning, hyperactivity, and attention span.

No More Sauna Visits.

When you’re using the sauna or in a hot tub the risk of dehydrating, overheating, and fainting increases. Likewise, an increase in your core temperature affects your baby directly and or indirectly.

Especially, during the first trimester.

What Works to avoid?

While normal house chores and exercises are fine, there are things you should avoid. Like heavy and aggressive exercises.

Similarly, avoid doing house chores that include chemical uses. However, normal cleaning, grooming, washing, and cooking is totally fine.

Foods To Avoid.

Raw fish and smoked seafood are a total no-no. This includes raw meat as well. And high mercury level fishes such as white snapper, shark, and swordfish should be avoided.

Furthermore, avoid hot dogs and deli meats. Unpasteurized milk and juices. Unripe papaya.

Side note: many people might tell you that you should start eating for two now. But please, don’t do so. You’ll need a little more amount of calories further in the second & third trimesters.

But eat just the needed amount like you always did because your child has a high risk of facing obesity later in life.

Avoid Cleaning Litter Box.

This might sound a little weird but you should not avoid litter boxes. And don’t worry your cat is perfectly safe to be around.

However, a cat’s litterbox contains parasites, one of them named Toxoplasma Gondii. You might cause miscarriage or your baby will be born really unhealthy with several health issues.
