Ant Anstead is one of the multi and most talented mechanics from Wheeler Dealers. However, the man moved on from the show due to some conflicts and pursued his dreams.
Anthony Richard Anstead was born and raised in Plymouth. Ever since the age of 10, he has had a craze for cars. Similarly, the multi-talented man worked as restoring and building cars and as a police constable.
He left being police in 2005 to pursue his real passion. He said, “I saw and did things that people would shudder at. I even spent time in a safe-house with the “railway murderer” John Duffy. It changed everything for me”.
Likewise, he is also an author of not one but two books about Petrolhead Parenting and British Police Car.
His third book is in process, and he is also an art guy who makes stunning arts shown in private collections and museums.
Moreover, he is a very loving person and is a philanthropist. Ant is active in The Harrison Fund, a charity for kids who suffer from a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
“I am so humbled to be involved in this great charity and delighted to have been invited to become a Patron. Knowing I am supporting something which could eventually mean a new lifeline for thousands of young boys each year is something I am proud to lend my voice to,” says Ant.
Anstead is a proud father of three and says that his first two kids are his best friends.
So far, Ant has been in love twice that we know. But his first marriage to Louise of 12 years and almost three years with Christina Anstead came to an end.
