The Curse of Oak Island: The Mystery Owner of Oak Island.

As a viewer of The Curse of Oak Island, I confirm that we all watch the show and at times think, “I have to go and find a new existence in an island.” However, most of the times we forget that the owners give permissions.

Hence, we dream of a lifelong journey but might never even get in, but don’t worry. Dreaming isn’t illegal or trespassing.

Over the years all thanks to History Channel, Oak Island is a popular tourist destination. Also, History Channel has the right to film, but it doesn’t look like they own the Island.

So who does?

Who Owns Oak Island?

We’ve got to know that Oak Island Tours Inc is the owner of the island for now. However, they don’t own all of the property, but the majority is theirs.

Additionally, History Channel’s website says that Oak Island is owned by the Oak Island Society. Rick and Marty Lagina are also a part of this society. As the society owns 78 percent of the land, the remaining is owned by individual people.

However, if you check History’s UK website, you will see that Oak Island Tours Inc has 50 percent of the land. Similarly, the Lagina brothers also purchased 50 percent of the stake basically making them the owners as well.

So yes, it clears out that there is no clear explanation as to who on earth actually owns Oak Island.

What if there is another mystery hidden behind this ownership as well?

Maybe it’s just uncertain information, but the true owner of Oak Island remains a mystery.
